Birmingham Stone Cutting was founded by my father Ray Bailey. He was trained and worked as a lapidary for over 40 years. When I was 15 I joined the business, however I was helping out long before then. When I was 24 I gained my diploma in Gemmology and Diamond grading in which I received the second highest score in the West midlands.
My mother Patricia Bailey has also been working in the trade for over 60 years. We pride ourselves on being a high quality family business that creates beautiful and unique pieces of Jewellery.
Me, Alan and Pat own and run Birmingham Stone Cutting premier jewellers in the famous Birmingham Jewellery Quarter. We specialise in creating bespoke jewellery pieces that are beautiful and individual and made here in Birmingham.
LISA BAILEY
My names Lisa and I run Birmingham stone Cutting. I am a experienced gemmologist and gem stone deal with a passion for my work. I’ve collected a range or rare and unique including alexandrite’s, which change form green to purple in day light. I also have a collection of natural black opals. Gemstones are my greatest passion and life’s work, if you have any question, need a valuations or gem stone testing feel free to get in touch.
RAY BAILEY
Ray Bailey was the founder of Birmingham stone cutting where he worked and trained as a lapidary. He created beautiful and unique jewellery, his favourite stone and passion was opals because they were always changing and different. He specialised in, inlayed work.
